Chinatown tour
See: http://www.vancouverchinesegarden.com/

Alison and I took a student to Chinatown tour this afternoon. We visited Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden, Chinatown, and Gastown. Especially, I enjoyed Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden. It was very interesting for me that the garden reflects the Daoist philosophy of yin and yang. (Light is balanced by dark, rugged and hard is balanced by soft and flowing, as is small by large.)

I took some students to Vancouver Aquarium and Granville Island so far, and I realized that activities were very important for school. Some students are very shy to ask question at reception, but when they go activity, they are not afraid of asking questions. This afternoon, we could talk about classes, schools, and Vancouver!
